How do I add custom fields to DocuSign from GroundBreaker?

This guide will teach you how to add the custom fields from GroundBreaker into DocuSign for your documents to auto-populate basic info.

GroundBreaker requires that you create a list of custom fields in DocuSign so that it can auto-populate the template that you wish to have your investors/users sign. We will provide you with a step-by-step set of instructions below that you will need to complete only once, after you do this, you will be able to upload a new template and click-n-drag the fields you want GroundBreaker to auto-populate onto the template from the list you've created here. You will be able to use these fields across multiple documents and templates.

Note: In rare occasions, custom fields area may not appear in your admin dashboard of DocuSign. In this case, first contact your assigned GroundBreaker Account Manager with your DocuSign login credentials so we can verify this and we will contact DocuSign to ask them to activate it for you.

  1. Log into DocuSign with your business pro account.
  2. In the top right-hand corner, click the circle avatar (it has a down-arrow triangle next to it).
  3. click "Go To Admin" from the new drop-down menu.
