Some banks require micro-deposits when configuring ACH payments

ACH Direct Deposit allows you to authorize your bank to send your contribution payment directly to the sponsor. Setting up ACH is a one-time event. If your bank requires it, you will have an additional step in the ACH configuration to verify the account information via micro-deposits.

Micro-deposits are two or three small test deposits sent from your bank account to verify that we have the correct bank account information. Micro-deposits usually take 1-2 business days (you can see them in your bank account's transaction history). Contact support at the address below if this takes longer than two days.

Enter these amounts on the same page used to identify the bank details to complete the ACH setup.

You will have three attempts to correctly input micro-deposit amounts. Once you exceed the maximum attempts, a micro-deposit error message will be triggered and the ACH set up will fail. If this occurs, contact support at the email below. You also have the option of retrying the validation yourself.

  • Remove the bank details

  • Wait 48 hours after removing the bank details to re-add them

  • Initiate new micro-deposits

  • Verify using the newly posted micro-deposit amounts
