The Investor Portal is designed to make it easy for you as the investor to initiate and manage all phases of an investment. This article provides an overview of the online investment process. Everything you submit throughout the process is stored centrally, and collectively it is referred to as the subscription package.
Initiate the Investment Process
The online subscription process, up to getting a countersigned agreement, can be completed in a single session when you select Invest Now. You will be led through each step as you provide the requested information.
Continue the Investment Process
During the investment process, you can exit and continue at a later date. The sponsor will send you emails that identify your status and provide you with your next steps. You go directly to the subscription page when you click the link in the email. You can also access the subscription page from the Home Dashboard in the Investor Portal.
If you are at the funding step, you can click on the banner.
If you are at any other stage, you can resume the process by clicking on Resume Investment.
You will go to the subscription page for the offering.
This page shows you each of the steps in the investment process. Completed steps have a checkmark, future steps are grayed out, and the next step for you to take appears as a button at the bottom of the page.
Offer Submission and confirmation
If you have not subscribed to the offering, clicking on View Subscription is how you begin the process. Provide the amount you want to commit and identify the investment account to manage that investment.
You can choose to move directly to the next step.
Investor Verification & Documents
Once the offer is submitted, you can begin the paperwork step.
Identify your preferred method of receiving distribution payments
Complete the investor accreditation questionnaire before accessing the subscription documents
Sign the documents electronically or download them for signature outside of the Investor Portal
Once you submit the required documents, you will receive a confirmation email. At this point, the sponsor will review the subscription documents and countersign them.
After the documents are signed by both parties, you will receive an email with a link to the subscription page where you will see the funding instructions. Select how you will submit your payment when there is more than one option. If you are paying via check or wire transfer, you must also click to notify when funds have been sent.
You are notified via email once the sponsor receives the funds.
The final step occurs once the sponsor receives your payment and acknowledges receipt (when payment is by check or wire). You will receive a status email, and the subscription is now an investment and you can access the details from the Investments section.
