Investor Portal Guide - How do I sign subscription documents electronically?

You can e-sign the subscription documents in the Investor Portal once you complete your investor accreditation

The Investor Portal is designed to make it easy for you as the investor to initiate and manage all phases of an investment. The ability to sign documents electronically eliminates the need for paper copies and ensures that everything you submit is stored centrally and remains accessible to you and the sponsor.

When you submit an offer, you continue through each step in the investment process that leads you to the subscription documents.

When you log into the Investor Portal with a subscription pending, that deal is shown on your Home Dashboard and you can proceed directly to the subscription workflow for that deal when you click Resume Investment.

When you are at the documents step, you will see each document displayed. Click on eSign with Hellosign for one of the documents.

The document will appear in a window and you can scroll through it. To sign electronically, click on Get Started.

The application will take you to the area in the document where your signature is required.

When you click to sign, you can add your signature in one of several ways.

  • You can draw it in

  • You can type your name and choose a font

  • You can upload a photo of your actual signature

Depending on the document, you may be requested to sign or initial in multiple places, select from a dropdown menu, choose from options, and enter text responses.

When you have populated all the required fields, click on Continue at the top of the page.

The final step is to agree to the terms.

You will see confirmation that the document was submitted.

If there is more than one document to sign, click on eSign with Hellosign for the next one and repeat the process. When all documents are signed, they are submitted to the sponsor.

Once the Hellosign processing completes, you can download the signed document.

When you click on Next at the top right on the documents page, you will see your confirmation page with a summary of the next steps.

You will also receive a confirmation email and the subscription page is updated.

You are waiting for the sponsor to review, approve, and countersign your subscription package before you can move to the funding step.
