When you select ACH, you are choosing an efficient payment method. Payments will be transferred electronically through Groundbreaker’s banking partner, Dwolla, eliminating the manual steps associated with wire transfers and checks. Electronic funds transfers come with rules and background processing, and the transfer does not occur instantaneously. When you use ACH, understand that:
The maximum amount for ACH direct deposits is $250,000.00
ACH currently supports U.S. Bank Accounts only
U.S. law and KYC/AML compliance requires verification of all users who are funding through electronic transactions - that includes both sponsors and investors - which can take up to three business days
ACH transactions generally take 3-5 business days to complete
