One of the key features of the Groundbreaker platform is that it streamlines fundraising with a guided online investment process, saving you time and creating a seamless experience for your investors. You can track and manage the progress of an offer from the subscription detail page. There is a detail page for every offer.

The investment process begins when the subscriber makes an offer. The notification appears on your Home Page under recent activity.

You can click on View Investment or you can navigate to the prospect’s subscription detail page from the Menu.

Navigate from Offerings:

=> Select Menu from the Home Dashboard

=> Click on Offerings

=> Select the Offering

=> Click on Prospects

=> Select the prospect

Navigate from Contacts:

=> Select Menu from the Home Dashboard

=> Click on Contacts

=> Select the prospect

=> Select the Offering from the list of Prospective Offerings

This is the subscription detail page for the prospect. The left side shows the details and progress of the subscription. As the prospect moves through the investment process, the component sections are updated and marked with a green check when all information for that section is received.

There are several components displayed on the subscription detail page.

Prospect - details about the investor making the offer

Offer - the investor account and the amount of the offer

Document - closing documents

Funding - date and time funding completed

The online investment process is a series of actions between you and the investor. Throughout the process, the investor will perform an action that will trigger a step for you to take and vice versa. The Summary section on the right side of the detail page serves as a guide through the investment process.

The prospect’s current fundraising status shows in yellow. Throughout the investment process, a prospect moves through several states and this status identifies their progress towards signing and funding their commitment offer.

Next Step defines what action(s) you can take to move the prospect through the investment process. When you have an action to perform, it will show as a blue button.

Most steps in the process also have a button for More Options. This button is enabled when there are actions you can take besides the one identified in the blue button.

More Options also allows you to take an action on behalf of the subscriber when applicable. Throughout the investment process, the investor initiates their steps through the Investor Portal, but you always have the option to complete the step on their behalf. This option usually applies when the investor completes the step outside of Groundbreaker (e.g. they provided their offer via email or phone or the investor sent the signed documents directly to you).
